Born in Novgorod in 1988, emerged as a piano prodigy, reaching the Rachmaninov International Competition finals at age nine. Graduating from the Moscow Conservatory in 2012 under Prof. Alexander Mndoyants, he won first prize at the Russian National Pianists Competition in 2002. Sergei, a solo pianist graduate, has been lauded at international competitions in France and Moscow.

Joining the Bolshoi Theatre's Young Artist Program in 2013, Sergei showcased his talent in various performances, including the "All the Romances by Tchaikovsky" series. He currently serves as an opera accompanist at Mannes School of Music, Grand Stage International Foundation, and collaborates with classical musicians at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and the Opera America Center. Sergei also imparts his expertise as a coach in international master classes for opera singers and classical music festivals.
